Thing-a-Day Jan 23 #31 - The End

Well, guys... I did it. I successfully completed my first Thing-a-Day in over a decade! I don't know what drove me to actually do it, but damn, I'm glad I did for a few reasons:

  • It shows me that I still have the ability to complete tasks that I set my mind to.
  • It shows that I still have the skill to keep writing.
  • It broke the shit out of my writer's block!
  • I began Sash and wrote an interesting short story about goblins.
  • It showed me, in no uncertain terms, why I absolutely hate BlogSpot and the Blogger service.

Consequently, I'm done with BlogSpot and am leaving it with a middle finger held high. Wikidot is where I belong... and to prove it, I've already created my new blogsite! I used bits and pieces from my other project sites, made some massive overhauls, and am still kinda working on figuring out how to get rid of the fucking sidebar... but hey, it's //home//.

On top of that, it's much less resource-heavy! No massive banners, no huge background image, no adspace.

This will be my final entry on BlogSpot. I will obviously keep updating my Facebook whenever I post a new entry... hopefully... if I remember. I also hate Facebook, so...

There's not much to say. I kept an eye on the developing story regarding the shootings in Los Angeles, CA today. Which ones, you ask? HA! That's a good point! That part actually doesn't matter to the context of my rant. What does , is the fact that the politicians went on politicing during the press conference about the shooting! Welcome to Writer's Wednesday.
