Eugh, I hate looking at the news. It's so divisive on both sides that the narrative has run itself completely sideways.

One story in particular that's been making its rounds is that the VA of Canada recommended MAID to a veteran who needs a chairlift installed in her home. The American news media is running with this ball and representing everything but the godsdamned truth of the matter.

The conservative news outlets are condemning Canada's leftist socialist policy of death instead of actually caring for people. The liberal news outlets are praising Canada's willingness and progressivism in fully engaging in End-of-Life assistance. Both are fucking stupid.

Truth of the matter is that yes, a representative for the Veterans' Affairs of Canada recommended assisted suicide to this disabled veteran. However, this representative was going rogue and going against the actual policies and procedures of the VA of Canada. The rep has been reprimanded and subsequently shit-canned for his massive fuckup.

Don't believe everything you read, people.

PS: Here's a rare outcome! News outlets are finally starting to self-correct on this particular story. Interesting.

There's not much to say. I kept an eye on the developing story regarding the shootings in Los Angeles, CA today. Which ones, you ask? HA! That's a good point! That part actually doesn't matter to the context of my rant. What does , is the fact that the politicians went on politicing during the press conference about the shooting!
