Thing-a-Day Jan 23 #19 - Re-postponement

 Good gods, today was worse than yesterday!

Late to work - I was supposed to arrive at 7AM, rolled in at 7:10. However, it was for a conference call, and I have the software on my phone, so I had it covered!

Bad news at work - When life hoofs you in the crotch, it uses the sharp side of the hoof. My job is secure, but damn, things are going a little sideways right now. Can't talk about the details, though.

More pain in more places - Teeth, butt, and lower back. Now, right knee is locking up. Lovely.

Immediately jumped on other projects when off the clock - Things have to get done. Previously scheduled engagements and all.

Just life in general - Fuck me, I wish I was still a smoker. Things would be a little easier.

There's not much to say. I kept an eye on the developing story regarding the shootings in Los Angeles, CA today. Which ones, you ask? HA! That's a good point! That part actually doesn't matter to the context of my rant. What does , is the fact that the politicians went on politicing during the press conference about the shooting! Shut the fuck up about teachers, transit funding, and diversity when lives have been lost in such a tragic manner!
