Thing-a-Day Jan 23 #18 - A Postponement

 Today was simply a day from hell. From the tailbone pain increasing to the tooth infection returning. From waking up tired [constantly lately] to running my ass off at work trying to finalize these upcoming projects.

Yeah, it definitely was a day, so I'm going to just cheap out and copy the reasoning behind nuking my old blog:

Honestly, this project started out with the best of intentions, being a real-world experiment for students in an Ethics class that I was the Teacher's Aide for. My role as TA lasted several years, far beyond the expiration date of this blog, but I persisted in the interest of having a place I could write in an intentionally and hyperbolically inflammatory manner. It was fun in the beginning, but damn, was it fucking toxic. Worse still, the toxicity of this project followed me around and kinda kicked me in the ass in multiple ways.

What I've learned since killing this project is simple.

Authenticity provides better catharsis than vehement bullshit.

In conclusion:

I'm letting this site remain until 01 February 2023, then I'm nuking the bastard from orbit. The four or five positive things that came out of this blog will remain in a new format, but the rest will be gone.

There's not much to say. I kept an eye on the developing story regarding the shootings in Los Angeles, CA today. Which ones, you ask? HA! That's a good point!
